Late October is the "Spooky Season". Did you know many Halloween traditions started as celebrations related to the changing of the seasons? Come learn about where the sun is in the sky and why this was so important to cultures throughout history.
Our local amateur astronomers set up their solar telescopes and hands-on astronomy activities in the parking lot of The Center for the Arts & Sciences. When the skies are clear, participants are encouraged to view the sun through safe methods. This is event takes place “rain or shine” and is FREE to the public!
