Join the Bristol Land Conservation Trust (BLCT) for a Full Harvest Moonrise Walk on Monday, October 6 at Mount Hope Farm. The event, at 250 Metacom Avenue, begins at 4:45 p.m. with guests gathering in the main parking lot just below the barn. Celebrate the beauty of Fall with a leisurely walk to the shore field, about .8 mile, where we will wait for the moon to rise over scenic Mount Hope Bay at about 5:55 p.m., sky conditions permitting. Nature always surprises us and this event is perfect for children.
Please wear appropriate walking shoes, and bring bug repellent, binoculars, and a flashlight (for the walk back) if desired. The fee for the walk is $15 per person, $25 per family, and free for BLCT members. Proceeds will benefit the conservation and stewardship efforts of the BLCT.
