A Brief History of 3D Printing on the ISS

Desktop 3D printing is common, but can it work in space? Absolutely! In fact, the International Space Station became an orbital factory in November 2014. Join us as we explore the brief history of additive manufacturing on the ISS—from the first successful prints of plastic tools to groundbreaking work on metal parts and even living human tissue (bioprinting).
