Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We visit Sarasota 3 times each observing season at this venue. Our host organization does a fabulous job of promoting and advertising these events. All are well attended but this was perhaps the best one of all because the "Big Three" (Moon, Jupiter and Saturn) were prominent all evening. The level of interest and the time spent at the eyepiece seemed particularly increased and full of excitement. We will be back here on March 28th.

Here are just a few members setting up for the evening. We had at least 15 telescopes in the field. The participation and contributions of our members at these public events continues to be next level!!! Photo by Donna Wright.

The line to look at Saturn through my telescope was 4 or 5 deep all evening. Photo by Ed McDonough.
