SHOOT FOR THE MOON - Jefferson College Observatory Site

All events are Monday nights.

****All events will be held beginning at sunset, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, programs will be postponed to the following month.

Join us at the Jefferson College Observatory for special Moon observing night at the Observatory. We will focus on our nearest neighbor, the Moon, and imagine its future exploration.

During each event, the dome and 16-inch telescope will be used for public viewing of the Moon, planets and stars. The 1,800 sq-ft observing patio will be available to those who want to bring their own telescopes and binoculars for family viewing.

2026 event dates: January 26, March 2 and 30, April 27, May 25, June 29, July 27, September 21, November 16
