REGISTRATION REQUIRED

I am requesting an evening star program for our campout at WOW School, which is a collaborative effort between MO State Parks and Wonders of Wildlife in Springfield, MO, amoung with many other local partners such as MoBot, MDC, YMCA, NPS, World Bird Sanctuary, etc. This event will be held at Beaumont Scout Reservation on April 11th. The audience will be primarily families, children aged 5+ and adults. 

WOW is a program intended for families or other folks in the city to learn some outdoor skills and explore nature through rotations of programming during the day, followed by a campout overnight to put their new skills to use in the hopes that they will feel comfortable camping in a state park on their own in the future.

During the day, participants will rotate between 4 different activity sessions that they will choose at registration (archery, caving, rock climbing, fishing, birding, etc.), and then some participants will stay overnight for a campout and will be able to participate in some nighttime activities.

I reached out to Don Ficken to see if he was available for this program and he is not, but referred me to this group! If any of your folks would are interested and available for a program on this night, we would love to have you there!
