Presentation: Tom Lugar will present "Meteoroids, Meteors, and Meteorites". Tom will discuss the origins of the meteors we see flashing across the night sky, their capture by the Earth and thravel through the atmosphere where they either burn up or survive to fall onto the Earth's surface. The types, composition and classifications of meteorites will be discussed and that some that survive to hit the ground, are from the Moon, Mars, and the asteroid Vesta. Meteorite samples will be brought to the meeting including ones from the Moon, Mars and Vesta,
