Event

Family Astronomy Night

Members of the Astronomical Society of New Haven, the Shoreline Astronomical Society, and the Thames Amateur Astronomical Society will have their telescopes set up to show you some of the best objects in the spring sky. If the skies are clear, we will be able to see Venus, Jupiter, star clusters, nebulas, galaxies, and many more fascinating objects in deep space.

Bring binoculars if you have them so you can do your own exploring in between looks through the big telescopes.  If you bring a flashlight, please cover it with red cellophane or red plastic to preserve everyone’s night vision.
