The 37th annual Southern Star will be held April 23-26 at Wild Acres Retreat near Spruce Pine, NC.  Confirmed speakers this year include Barbara Hilton from NASA, Josh Haislip with UNC-Chapel Hill, Johnny Horne, and Dr. Chris Mullis. Presentation topics are as follows: Skynet 2.0: The Future of Global Observing, Shooting Earth and Sky…at the same time, and From Charlotte to Maunakea and Back.

Come join us for 4 days and 3 nights of friendship, fellowship, great speakers and (hopefully) star gazing.  We have a first quarter moon, but that shouldn't deter us.
