Hunter Park Public Telescope Night

The Astronomy Club of Tulsa in collaboration with the City of Tulsa Parks Department will offer a free public telescope observing night at Hunter Park on Saturday, May 23rd from 7:30 until the park closes.  This is a public come-and-go event.   The entrance to Hunter Park is located off 91st Street between Yale and Sheridan.  Turn into the park and follow the road south to the large elevated concrete labyrinth pad near the playground and picnic shelter. You may want to bring along a lawn chair if you plan to stay the whole evening. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather if you plan to stay an extended time.

The event is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC but you are welcome to make a donation to help us to continue "Bringing the Stars to Eyes of Tulsa since 1937"

Hunter Park is a location that the Astronomy Club of Tulsa uses for public outreach events. We setup on the flat concrete slab to the west of the parking lot.
