Join Planetarium Director Dave Bush for a special presentation of American Astronomy, an original fulldome show created in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
The program traces our evolving relationship with the night sky—from Indigenous sky traditions and celestial navigation to giant observatories, the Apollo program, space telescopes, gravitational waves, and the discoveries still ahead.
Following the show, Dave will give a behind-the-scenes look at its production, including some of the research, creative techniques, digital tools, and visual resources used to bring this sweeping history to life in the planetarium.
