The Paramount School Park Stargaze is Free to the Public.  
This event is authorized by the city of Shoreline, Parks & Recreation Department.
It is conducted by volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS).
The Moon is near "third quarter" phase and as such "moonrise" does not occur near or after migdnight making Shoreline skies particularly dark and favorable for stargazing.

Please check the SAS website frequently for star party event status.  If necessary, star party cancellations will be posted on the SAS website and other social platforms, not later that 4PM the day of the event.

Instructions for the Public:
Dress warmly.
Redlight  flashlights only.  No white lights, please.
Families with young children are welcome.
For scout, school, church groups with 4 or more young people expected to attend, please have an adult coordinator contact the SAS outreach person @seattleastro.org to accomodate special interests and learning objectives.
