Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
It was cool and breezy for our Wednesday in the Park event. We had 8 members at the park with 4 telescopes and 3 sets of binoculars set up for the 20 visitors that showed up. We had a nice waxing Gibbous Moon to see, as well as Jupiter with all 4 Galilean Moons visible, Mars, Orion and the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades. The wind caused havoc with the Sun poster from the Solar System toolkit and the display had to be taken down early, but not before most visitors got to check it out.
