Comments and anecdotes about the event:
I gave a presentation on the solar motion and how the signs of the zodiac are the background constellations in the path of the Sun, planets and Moon using the Stellarium app. I included where we are in the Milky Way. Clouds kept us from setting up a telescope for the guests.

Paul Ramirez: Demonstrating seeing color and a camera taking an image. I was able to alter the image to project the colored squares in monochrome as if outside in the dark. Then I changed the saturation to show the colored squares as if I turned on a light
