The annual "Prairie Lights" at the Hesston Dyck Arboretum. They illuminate the walking trails during this time. This event spans across two weekends in late November and early December. Check out their website for more information and entry fees.

The Kansas Astronomical Observers will be giving a presentation about the winter constellations.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
I gave a presentation on the solar motion and how the signs of the zodiac are the background constellations in the path of the Sun, planets and Moon using the Stellarium app. I included where we are in the Milky Way. Clouds kept us from setting up a telescope for the guests.
