Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
I gave this group a 4.5" reflector telescope someone had donated to me earlier this year. I showed them how to use it. I showed them how to read a star map. We then went outside to view with my 8" SCT. I showed them comet C/2023 A3 through the telescope. I had a pair of binoculars out for the guests to use and they were also able to view the comet with them. I showed them M31, M32, M57, M17, M13, Saturn, Neptune, and Jupiter when it came up. We looked at Alberio, and the double star of Polaris. They enjoyed the Pleiades with the binoculars. We did see a few meteors while we were there.
