Event

This year the Delta Aquarids are expected to peak on the night of July 28 through the morning of July 29. This particular meteor shower has a long slow buildup and decline through the summer months, with meteors from its stream visible starting in mid-July  and running through late August.

This year the Delta Aquarids will come during a crescent moon, so viewing will be fairly good (clear skies permitting, of course!).  Find an area with dark skies and look up for this respectable sky show, where perfect conditions being up to 20 meteors an hour - and while most folks own counts will be lower, it will still be a pretty show with a few good meteors!.
