Comments and anecdotes about the event:
The event was an outstanding success. This was the first year that we as a club participated in this Buckeye Library Field Trip event. The attendees were all from west valley schools , grades 5 and 6. All were bused in to the event. We partnered with Focus Astronomy Outreach who brought their 50 meteorite collection and Frontier Sciences who brought in a simulator trailer to educate the attendees on phases of the moon. We had 5 member solar scopes for kids to look through and a display of scopes and optics. Also had UV exercises using the solar kit" Our Magnetic Sun" Truly a great event.
