Grayson High School (part of Gwinnett Co Schools, in Loganville) will be hosting a cluster-wide STEM night to which all cluster students are invited; the Grayson cluster includes students from 4 elementary schools (Grayson ES, Starling ES, Trip ES, and Pharr ES), 2 middle schools (Bay Creek MS and Couch MS) and GHS itself, though the event is geared toward the elementary students primarily. It's hard to predict how many guests will attend, but possibly at least 100 per elementary school plus some middle/high students, so possibly around 500 or more. There will be many events/stations set up, so not all guests will necessarily visit the telescope area during the 2-hour window. We have an area near our football stadium press box set aside for telescopes to be set up, and have already requested that exterior lights for that part of the building be turned off for the night.
The event begins at 6 PM, so arrival/set up prior to that time would be needed.
