The Atlanta Astronomy Club provides an observing event for campers taking their astronomy merit badges at the Woodruff Boy Scout Camp near Blairsville, GA. 

The staff teaches about astronomy during the week and we provide the "under the sky" and "hands-on a telescope" part of thebadge requirements. 

We need volunteers to go up on Monday evening from 9 - 11 pm, with their telescopes & binoculars and offer campers an opportunity to do some hands-on observing under the night sky.

The Camp runs for 7 weeks, starting the first week in June. We need volunteers for Thursday June 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th; and July 7th, 14th, 21th &28th
