April 15th from 5 - 11 pm on Grier's Field (the DAV observing field).
Local amateur astronomers will set up thier telescopes for your viewing, give impromptu sky tours and answer your astronomy questions.
Everyone - young & old - is welcome. The event is FREE!
Even on a hot day, the night can get pretty chilly after the sunsets, so we recommend that you bring a layer of warm clothing.
Our strict "No White Lights" protocol will be realxed at this event for safety reasons, but we advise you to arrive before sunset. This enables you to safely drive & park on the ungroomed field.
