This is our weekly observing through our 2 large telescopes with a presentation at 8:30 pm on an astronomy related topic. The presentation is titled "Fun Facts About the Winter Solstice". Join in to learn why there is a Winter Solstice, what it means for our seasons, and more. And weather permitting we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor. Doors to the Observatory open at 7:30 pm.

Please note that the domes are open to the outside so plan to wear your coats/jackets when in the domes while you are observing. The inside of the domes will be the same temperature as the outside.

Our doors to the Observatory open at 7:30 pm.

This is our weekly observing through our 2 large telescopes with a presentation at 8:30 pm on an astronomy related topic. The presentation is titled "Fun Facts About the Winter Solstice". We request that if you come in after 8:30 pm that you do so quietly since a presentation will be in progress. The presentation will be for most ages and last about 30 - 45 minutes.  Join in to learn why there is a Winter Solstice, what it means for our seasons, and more. And weather permitting we will do observing through our 2 large telescopes, a 24 inch reflector and a 10 inch refractor. 

Please note that the domes are open to the outside so plan to wear your coats/jackets when in the domes while you are observing. The inside of the domes will be the same temperature as the outside.
