Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Throughout the afternoon over 400 people came through Trailside Nature & Science Center's building where presentations, science and robotics demonstrations, children's activities, scavenger hunt of astrophotography pictures and solar observing were held. That was probably one of our highest number of visitors to our yearly Astronomy Day. In the evening around 100 people came to Sperry Observatory for a presentation and observing. Every child who attended got to pick a door prize. Although the weather was not favorable for observing we did have a fews minutes when Mars could be observed through the 2 telescopes in the Observatory.
