Our speaker will be Chuck Goldsmith of Global Meteor Network, a network of amateur astronomers who collaborate on capturing and studying meteors and meteorites throughout the globe. His topic is “The Science of Meteoritics and How the Global Meteor Network Citizen Science Project Supports Meteoritic Science"

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Chuck spoke about the Global Meteor Network, project that aims to observe meteors with a network of cameras and Raspberry Pi devices. AAS members were very interested in becoming involved by setting up an observing station at one of the locations where we have regular star parties.
