Event

Club member Mark Whipple will present an 8 class course over 8 weeks on "time".

Time is, paradoxically, the most familiar and least understood aspect of existence. We will explore many aspects of time including the familiar (clocks, calendars, time zones), bizarre (relativity, time travel, whether time actually began with the Big Bang) and everyday (why birthday cards from some people always arrive late). Note: There are both an in-person and an online option for this course. Participants must choose only one option to attend; please ensure that you are registering for the option you prefer, as we may not be able to accommodate changes.
Registration and fees are required for this in-person and online course throughh OLLI at UNC-Asheville.
