Umpire is a very small school with 167 students in grades K-12.  We did 2 presentations:  one for grades K-6 and one for grades 7-12.  They participated in kinesthetic activities modeling the sun-moon-earth model and eclipses, used yardstick activity, and learned about sun safety.  After the presentations, kids practiced using the solar eclipse glasses to look at an uneclipsed sun.  Groundhog day was the perfect day to talk about shadows!
