Here is this years schedule for "Nights at the Arboretum."  These events are a lot of fun and the visitors tend to ask the best questions regarding Astronomy.  The first one is coming right up this Saturday (my bad for not getting this out sooner) going from 5-9pm.  Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering.

Pat Griggs, with the Overland Park Arboretum is requesting telescopes for their "2025 Night at the Arboretum events.   The 2025 dates are:   3/8, 3/13, 10/21, 11/5, 11,21
Individual Night Sky Network calander events will be created for each individual event. 
This email is regarding the date of 3/8.

• The time frame is from 5:00 to 9:00.  The ending time is flexible depending on the attendance for the night.
• Local contact-Pat Griggs 913-522-2587
• The set up area will be in the southwest area of the Arboretum.  This area is flat and does not have any obstructions for viewing the night sky.
• The entrance to the Arboretum will take you into the parking lot and you can park anywhere.  You will see a small structure ( this is the entrance kiosk)  and I will meet you there with a cart(s) to take you out to the viewing area.
