We would love to have a simple astronomy lesson and view deep sky objects through a digital telescope(s). Camping overnight is an option for everyone but not required.

Instructions for the Public:
Our programs are free. MDC staff will provide outdoor skills/dark skies activities for families who register. We will start at 5 pm with skills: archery/fishing/atl atl. Then, break for dinner. At sunset or by dark, MDC staff will offer a slide show (~20 minutes) with a portable projector on how light pollution affects wildlife and people. Afterwards, we are hoping to have telescope time and astronomy lesson.
