Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Cattus Island Nature Festival had a number of vendors at this event with about close to 800 guests. We had ASTRA, SciStarter, and DarkSky members providing informational displays on astronomy, citizen science, and dark sky light pollution. The display covered two tables, one for astronomy and the other for light pollution and citizen science. The day also featured solar observing from ASTRA.
