This is a bienniel event held in Tucson Arizona. Astra member Rosemarie Spedaliere shared her knowledge of the night sky with the attendees and manned the telescopes.
We travelled several day trips which included University of Arizona's Mirror Lab and their Nasa Mission Image lab and Mt Bigelow and Mt Lemmon to visit the observatories and The Sky Center for public outreach. Then we proceeded to Meteor Crater , The Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff and then the Grand Canyon.
