The Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) at Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is inviting you to join us for the “KIPAC + Friends” Community Day! This public event will take the form of a science fair, featuring numerous stations of live demonstrations, experiments, and hands-on activities not only in astrophysics but also in closely related STEM fields. A series of mini science lectures will also be running in parallel, introducing the latest discoveries across a wide range of STEM disciplines, primarily centered around the theme of space exploration.

This event is free, suitable for all, and especially kid- and family-friendly! While walk-ins are also welcome, registration is strongly encouraged for communication purposes. We’ll also be raffling off a meteorite (sponsored by NASA’s Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute) to one of the registered groups.
