Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Had approximately 200-225 visitors to our event. Many were excited for the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and asked about viewing the landing spot. Many showed an interest in promoting dark skies to aid in star gazing. Many wanted to know if similar events were on the calendar and wished to attend those events. We had a wide range of age groups and interests. One young girl was working on her space badge for Girl Scouts and had many questions. We had good skies and were able to provide the public with an enjoyable viewing experience.
