Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We has three new faces show up waning to join the club. The presentation was on Relativity and the Nature of Space and Time. It sparked a fair amount of discussion, much of it around the next frontier..quantum gravity. We started by reviewing Newtonian physics and then progressed into relativity and the non-intuitive physics that occurs in the space-time continuum.
