Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
The forecast for the event was to be overcast however the skies clear just as it was getting dark so it turned out to be a perfect stargazing night. We had people across a wide range of ages and as often is the case the youngsters always surprise you with their knowledge and enthusiasm. For this event one of the telescopes we used was an electronic telescope which allow many people to view the objects live on a display screen and also enable us to take pictures which will be send to all the participants. We took pictures off M3 and also M81/M82. The combination of telescopes that individuals can look through, as well as an electronic telescope that many people can experience at the same time, makes a great combination for public outreach.
