Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We met at the house of a club member, who lived in the country and has is own small observatory. Before darkness had even set in, we were treated to an ISS pass. Through image-stabilized binoculars, a couple of folks were even able to see one of the solar panels on the station as it passed overhead.
