Hillsborough, NC has its annual lantern River walk on December 21st. It a Solstice walk. 

CHAOS has been asked to share the night skies to those who will be in attendence. 

Come and join us for a night of sharing and enjoying the Winter Solstice.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
This event is an annual Solstice event - lots of costumes and music along the Eno River. CHAOS has participated the last two years by setting up telescopes for observing the Moon and planets. 4,475 is the number of people registered this year - even more came. Possibly 1/2-2/3 of this number stopped by to look through the scopes at least once.
