Event

Join us on Friday, September 20th from 7:30 – 9:30 PM at the Florissant Fossil Beds Visitor Center as we explore the Fall Sky.
Fall brings change to the Colorado mountains (Be prepared for cooler temperatures in the Mountains!) as well as changes from the views that we enjoyed all Summer of the night skies. Our view of the universe changes as we orbit the Sun so different times of year also bring us different stars and constellations to see and enjoy. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a great place to see these astonishing wonders of the sky through the telescopes of Colorado Springs Astronomical Society members.
Please join us!
NOTE: As the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a fee area, they charge a small nominal fee of $7 per person age 16 and older (but it’s worth it!).
