After a New Moon, we can often see what is called ‘Earthshine’, or the light from Earth reflecting on the unlit portion of the Moon.
Join us as we aim our telescopes at the crescent Moon and other stunning deep-sky objects like galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters.

  • Enjoy the Mobile Earth & Space Observatory (MESO) — Telescope support provided by members of the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society

The Space Foundation allows us to use their facilities for our monthly meetings. Located just off Garden of the Gods Rd.

Notes:
CSAS meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 7pm to 9pm. There is usually someone to greet you at the front door.
