Library talk and Moon Viewing at the PPLD 21C Library. First hour is talk for 12-18 year old group "What Galileo Saw" and then second hour is viewing of the Moon outside.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Talk about the lure of the Moon and our exploration of it with the Apollo missions and the robotic missions such as the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Then went outside for observing of the Moon and Jupiter and gave a little talk during observing about what Galileo saw 410 years ago (Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Sun, Pleiades, and Milky Way).
