Join the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society at Garden of The Gods visitor center for the Spring 2019 International Astronomy Day, Saturday, May 11th, 10 am – 2 PM and 8 – 10 PM. We’ll have solar observing and talks in the visitor center from 10 AM – 2 PM and then will have a night sky star party that is free and open to the public from 8 – 10 PM in the visitor center parking lot!

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Great day at Garden of The Gods though attendance in the park was down from previous events. Though night skies cleared an early rain shower kept people away so star observing at night event was more one-on-one than when we have large crowds.
