EAS December Meeting – with the 2024 Astronomy Picture of the Day, with Dr. Robert Nemiroff

The Saturday December 21st EAS meeting will begin at 2 pm, and end by 4:45, due to library schedule changes.
The speaker will be Dr. Robert Nemiroff, showing highlights of 2024’s APOD images.
These are some of the most striking and interesting images related to astronomy worldwide from the year just ending.
We plan to start the meeting with a social-hour period, review member information in NSN website, and then club business, and then the presentation around 3 pm.

We have a new nomination/volunteer for one or two for club officer roles for 2025, and we will hold our annual election of those officers at the meeting.

On the evening of the meeting, at 7:30 pm, we will hold our annual Holiday Dinner, with optional gift exchange, at Anthony’s Homeport restaurant, at the Everett Marina.
