Join us for our the East Brunswick Astronomy Club's seasonal kids' meeting where we'll be learning all about Venus and its runaway greenhouse effect. EB Astro youth presenter, Kevin Champignon,will return to share fun facts about Venus sure to fascinate kids of all ages. We will also bejoined by members of the East Brunswick Sustainability Task Force who will present on greenhouse gases here on Earth as well as ways to help our atmosphere stay happy and healthy.Children will also be able to participate in a sustainability hands-on project at the end of the presentations. Night owls are also welcomed to stay until dark when we will use telescopes to observe the night sky.

This event is one of four presented each year focused on getting younger, budding astronomers more excited about astronomy and space. There will be crafts related to Greenhouse Gases and their effects on the atmosphere, both here and on Venus, after the presentation. If weather and sky conditions permit, we will be observing outside after the event.
