The Star Party would be part of our National Endowment for the Arts Big Read around the book, The Bear. This is a community read, where we invite the city to read the same book, and we hold programming around the topics and themes found in the book. There are topics of astronomy in the title, so we'd love to have a star party. We'd like to request you bring your telescopes and help show/educate our participants on the night sky. This is now a joint program that will start with a led night hike in the park with a Master Naturalist and end with the star party.
