A flyer for the program will be made later, but all three highschools from Nortwest ISD will have a night to invite students to participate in telescope viewing and a discussion of moon phases. This event is being organized through the district's new astronomy course and is being scheduled as a part of our unit on moon phases.

One high school will be invited on the 22nd, another on the 23, and the last on the 24th to accomodate for large groups. The district's outdoor learning center will host the FWAS members and NISD students from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm each night with about 60 students expected each night. FWAS members coming to the event will have to submit a volunteer background check which can be sent by calista.martin@nisdtx.org when the star party dates are approved.
