Did you know that the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History's 60 year old Noble Planetarium was the first major planetarium named after a woman? And it's the first planetarium that was ever constructed in a children's museum.
Planetarium Director and (FWAS member) Linda Krouse will conduct a power point presentation on different elements in the nighttime sky. Members of the Fort Worth Astronomical Society will bring out powerful telescopes of all shapes and sizes so kids can gaze into outer space and learn about the order and function of stars and planets in the sky.
Join the Noble Planetarium staff and members of the Fort Worth Astronomical Society for Stars Over Euless at Bob Eden Park in Euless, TX. You'll find plenty of telescopes for viewing and even more astronomy buffs to help you navigate your way through the skies. The party begins at dusk, weather permitting, and lasts until approximately 10:30 p.m. Best of all, it's FREE!
