Comments and anecdotes about the event:
I'd hoped for club participation, but nobody came... I'd hoped for volunteers from the park, but nobody came for that either... the result was that I ran with binocs and giant pinhole viewers only. "Frankenbox" took several people to operate and drew a crowd every time we got it going. -- Baily's Beads, naked-eye prominences and the moon's shadow were spectacular.
