Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We had numerous families with young children in attendance. Paul Patterson, Paul Elliott, and Danny Lineberger brought our scopes to look at Jupiter, Venus, Caster, and several other objects. The fan favorite of the night was Ron Settle with his Rassa telescope. Our guests were able to see the Andromeda Galaxy and the Orion Nebula in real time. Christopher Rowe brought several Night Sky Network and JPL/NASA materials to distribute, which was a real plus. One lady in a wheelchair especially benefited from Ron's presentation of the deep sky objects.
