Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Tonight, Mac, Khady and I were at Kennedy elementary school for a STEM event for k-4. The kids were surprisingly well behaved (compared to my grand kids who are running around in my home right now...). We had 300 folks from all walks of life and many parts of the world. It reminded me of what I heard every single astronaut I've met say: "From space you do not see the borders". Well I sure could see and hear different cultures tonight. And BTW, Mac has origins in Holland, Khady in Senegal, me in France, Germany and Italy... What a planet! Joins us next time, it's a lot of fun and it feels so good to do good. God knows what seeds we planted tonight.
