Tonight's event at the John Paul Landing Environmental Education Center is hosted by Harris County Precinct #4, John Paul Landing Park Staff, and members of the Houston Astronomical Society. Tonights program will explore the constellation Leo including how to find it and some of the interesting astronomical objects located within its boundaries. Immediately after a short presentation, there will be a hands-on project where participants will be able to construct a star projector of the Leo constellation. Attendees will then have the opportunity to view the night sky through telescopes provided by JPL Park and members of the Houston Astronomical Sociey.
