Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Mulvane Public Library Astro Night: Originally scheduled for November 4, this event was pushed back to November 18 due to weather. A handful of families showed up and participated in astronomy-themed crafs and activities inside the library. My daughter and I set up my 8" Dobsonian just outside the entrance to the library, and many people stopped on their way in and/or out to look at Jupiter and Saturn, some for the very first time. One family brought a telescope they had recently purchased, and I was able to give them some instruction on how to use it. -Submitted by Ron Mallory
