Astronomy clubs bringing the wonders of the universe to the public

KVAS and the West Virginia Astrophotography Association will hold a star party at 6 pm on February 20 at the Breezy Point Observatory on the Camp Virgil Tate grounds. The star party will follow the KVAS business meeting at 5:30 pm at Camp Virgil Tate.

Camp Virgil Tate is primarily a 4-H facility that is used by other organizations, mainly youth oriented. It has a lodge and several camper bunkhouses. The KVAS observatories, known as Breezy Point, are located on a rise above the camp.
